2nd SIRE Colloquium (Hyderabad Campus)
The School of Interdisciplinary Research and Entrepreneurship (SIRE) at BITS-Pilani Hyderabad organized its 2nd colloquium on July 29, 2024 where eminent Bioengineer, Prof. Joseph Singapogu from Clemson University, USA delivered a lecture.
Prof. Singapogu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Bioengineering at Clemson University is a practicing Biomedical Engineer and an adjunct faculty at the University of South Carolina-Greenville School of Medicine He is also the Founder of Sojourn MedTech, LLC. In the colloquium he focused on Clinical Skills Training Simulations and associated Skill Evaluation techniques.
Inaugural SIRE Colloquium (Hyderabad Campus)
The School of Interdisciplinary Research and Entrepreneurship (SIRE) at BITS-Pilani organized its inaugural colloquium on July 3, 2024. Prof. Suparna Mukherji, an eminent Bio-Environmental Engineer from IIT-Bombay graced the occasion. The talk on her journey in the field of Water, Wastewater, and Sustainability research spanned several disciplines and incited widespread interest.
Inaugural Event (Pilani Campus)
We're excited to share that the School of Interdisciplinary Research and Entrepreneurship (SIRE) recently hosted its inaugural event at the BITS Pilani (Pilani campus). The highlight was an invited lecture by Professor Saurav Goel from London South Bank University, United Kingdom. His presentation, titled "Interdisciplinary research and growth opportunities in the UK”, delved into a range of topics, such as undergraduate internships and postdoctoral fellowships in the UK, strategies for fostering collaborations, and guidelines for reaching out to faculty members in the UK for PhD or postdoctoral opportunities.
